Comedian Mike Epps has inked a deal with Netflix for his new special, Delusional, which will premiere on the streamer on January 27.

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

本片劇情依然圍繞遺體送還公司“天使之心”展開(kāi)。社長(zhǎng)伊澤那美得知8年前身亡的戀人或許仍在世而心神動(dòng)搖。萬(wàn)圣節(jié)期間，公司成員奔赴世界各地處理送還事務(wù)：有人面對(duì)因嬰兒猝死而自責(zé)的母親，有人護(hù)送突然離世的明星回國(guó)，也有人送別在旅途中去世的青年。那美在墨西哥執(zhí)行任務(wù)時(shí)，一邊處理逝者身后事，一邊被舊日戀情的線索牽動(dòng)，在生死與思念交織中重新審視自己的內(nèi)心。
