業(yè)（黃秋生飾）是一名富商，他為人孝順，亦深愛妻子詠琴，無奈詠琴體弱多病，不能滿足洛業(yè)，洛業(yè)只好在夢中解決生理需要。在一次偶然的機會中，洛業(yè)遇見了術(shù)士十方，十方愿以十萬元賣一個綺夢給他，洛業(yè)在嘗到甜頭之后，決定買下綺夢。此后洛業(yè)每晚沉迷在綺夢中，為博夢中美女歡心，他戲言愿以心中的至愛交換，不料綺夢突然變成惡夢！洛業(yè)要求十方收回此夢，十方乘機開出天價，洛業(yè)為了愛妻的安全，忍痛答應(yīng)，但夢醒后他卻發(fā)現(xiàn)自己家財盡失，妻子被自己砍死，痛不欲生之下，惟有自殺一途。　洛業(yè)之弟洛文（尹天照飾）驚聞自己母、兄、嫂相繼死亡的消息，火速回港追查他們的死因，最后查出十方的陰謀，并得到十方妻子（張文慈飾）的幫助，將惡夢反種在十方身上，以其人之道還治其人之身，終于為親人報仇雪恨

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
