All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

劉德華,鄭秀文,王天林,林雪,黑川力矢,佐膝佳次Mini Mo（鄭秀文飾）遭受失戀的打擊后，飲食失去控制后體重升至260磅，窈窕身材不再。她與初戀情人黑川約定在十年后的日本相見，但舊貌不再的她深感自卑。偶然相識(shí)了跟她同樣體型極胖的肥佬（劉德華飾），肥佬非常同情她，決定要幫她重塑魔鬼身材。肥佬以地獄式減肥方法鍛煉Mini，為了讓她減肥成功，得到更多的金錢讓她上專業(yè)美容院減肥，肥佬不惜在街頭被拳擊換取酬勞。令Mini感動(dòng)不已?！ ini恢復(fù)原貌前去赴約，黑川向她提出求婚，可是她心中仍念念不忘為她默默付出的肥佬，盼望跟他重逢的一天。
