　　一名退伍軍人得到一份搶劫房子的工作，但結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)這所房子是 Nyai 的房子，Nyai 是一位小妾，又名 Gundik。

　　麥道梅（曾志偉 飾）人如其名，一生歷經(jīng)坎坷無數(shù)，去內(nèi)衣廠工作就連累企業(yè)業(yè)績直線下滑，談女朋友就被拋棄，連累的三十多歲的家姐至今未嫁。無奈的姐姐拿出了家傳的玉鐲贈與一事無成的麥道梅，希望幫他轉(zhuǎn)運，抑郁的麥道梅酒后駕車，被人撞下高坡，迷迷糊糊見到了牛頭馬面，此二鬼卒告知麥道梅陽壽未盡，在王百萬、包黛麗、石神三人身亡之后即是他麥道梅之死期……清醒過來的麥道梅馬上遇上了被撕票的富翁王百萬，而石神便是綁架王百萬的案犯之一，而包黛麗則是石神的女友，為了自救，麥道梅試圖保護包黛麗和石神，因此卷入了這起綁架案，而石神的妹妹石女（鐘楚紅 飾）更是令麥道梅心動。未知麥道梅如何自救，又怎樣贏得石女芳心？

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
