  Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.  Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?  n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.  What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.  On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.  One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.  Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

毛骨悚然撞鬼經(jīng) 2018夏季特別篇

  1.「看不見(jiàn)的沉淀」  在不動(dòng)產(chǎn)公司工作的佐佐木裕介。就在他進(jìn)公司第三年終于開(kāi)始上手時(shí)的某一天,裕介大學(xué)時(shí)代的同學(xué)?井口真梨惠(內(nèi)田理央 飾)來(lái)到了不動(dòng)產(chǎn)公司。真梨恵表示想尋找和同樣是大學(xué)同學(xué)的駒田和哉(岡山天音 飾)一起住的房子。然而和哉所要求的租 金與離車站距離等條件卻很難找到符合的房子,最后和哉提出要求讓裕介介紹事故物件(臺(tái)灣俗稱的兇宅)給他,事情就是從和哉與不知情的真梨恵入住新房開(kāi)始的...那間房子曾經(jīng)有男人吊死在衣柜內(nèi),數(shù)個(gè)月后的某日,憔悴的真梨恵拜訪了裕介,她說(shuō)和哉的樣子越來(lái)越奇怪????! ?.「迷途的女人」  因親人調(diào)職而剛搬到鄉(xiāng)下地區(qū)的女高中生?金子初美(平佑奈 飾),還沒(méi)適應(yīng)新環(huán)境。在某個(gè)夏日,她走了與平時(shí)不同的路,卻不小心在山間迷路,等到她注意到時(shí),一個(gè)怪異的長(zhǎng)髮女人不懷好意地靠近她???。  3.「被搶走的地方」  在醫(yī)院的內(nèi)科擔(dān)任護(hù)士工作的村田久美子(菜菜緒 飾),對(duì)一位年長(zhǎng)的病人?五十嵐德治非常頭痛。由于會(huì)有夾帶細(xì)菌的危險(xiǎn)性,醫(yī)院內(nèi)是禁止將盆栽植物帶入病房?jī)?nèi)的,然而五十嵐卻堅(jiān)持要把一盆黑竹放在病房?jī)?nèi),在久美子的勸說(shuō)下,五十嵐終于同意讓久美子暫為保管黑竹,然而就在五十嵐自言自語(yǔ)著黑竹很寂寞希望把它還回來(lái)時(shí),五十嵐卻去世了。久美子也覺(jué)得這黑竹有些奇怪的感覺(jué)。五十嵐去世后,久美子悄悄把黑竹帶回自家照顧。某天晚上,家中沒(méi)有養(yǎng)貓的久美子,卻在睡覺(jué)時(shí)聽(tīng)到貓的叫聲???  4.「浪花心靈道」  這是在阿好還沒(méi)成為藝人,在小吃店打工時(shí)發(fā)生的事,在媽媽桑千佳(余貴美子 飾)的介紹下,佳子與店內(nèi)的常客柴崎雄二(桐山漣 飾)交換了聯(lián)絡(luò)方式,數(shù)天后阿好收到來(lái)自柴崎的訊息,上頭寫著「明天,有空?」,認(rèn)為是約會(huì)邀約的阿好,隔天卻被帶往柴崎的父親的房間,柴崎表示因最近附近亡故,希望阿好能一起幫忙整理遺物。柴崎將父親的黑色念珠作為禮物贈(zèng)送給努力幫忙的阿好,首次收到男性禮物的阿好非常高興,在那之后,阿好與同居人真晝(暫譯)同住的房?jī)?nèi)開(kāi)始接二連三發(fā)生怪事????! ?.「穿衣鏡」  剛開(kāi)始在家庭餐廳打工的近藤萌繪(葵若菜 飾),在打工的時(shí)候結(jié)識(shí)了與她同年紀(jì)的藤本裕子(今田美櫻 飾),裕子送了一面穿衣鏡給萌繪作為禮物。某天夜裡,萌繪正在睡覺(jué)時(shí),房間內(nèi)的穿衣鏡發(fā)生了奇怪的變化????! ?.「來(lái)自念波的盡頭」  經(jīng)營(yíng)會(huì)計(jì)師事務(wù)所的中井英才(北村一輝 飾),有一天去了二手回收店,被一個(gè)有點(diǎn)年代的收音機(jī)吸引而購(gòu)買。回到家裡打開(kāi)了廣播收音機(jī),卻聽(tīng)到了「嗚、嗚、嗚、」像有人在呻吟般的令人毛骨悚然的聲音???
