西南偏南電影節(jié)劇情片競賽。                                                                      　　Nellie and Daisy attempt to escape the institution for delinquent girls in 1954 New Zealand, however not only are they caught, it triggers a relocation to a facility on a remote island. The duo become a trio as well-to-do Lou joins them, and life on the island takes shape under the command of devout Matron. The trio rail against the system, dubious of the benevolence of the bible and taking refuge in their blossoming friendship. It’s hard to reform girls who don’t believe they need reforming. However, a sense of doom settles in when experimental forms of punishment take place in the dead of night. Nellie and Daisy plot rebellion, but unexpectedly find themselves at odds with Lou, who is afraid to break the rules.

　　圣誕前夜，雖然家人熱切地期盼，但美麗干練的女律師安吉拉（瑞秋·尼科爾斯Rachel Nichols 飾）仍在辦公室努力工作，進行最后的沖刺。繁冗的工作終至尾聲，安吉拉獨自下到地下車庫，準(zhǔn)備驅(qū)車回家。不過她的車無論如何也發(fā)動不了，車庫電梯門也被鎖住，于是她只好向保安托馬斯（韋斯·本特利 Wes Bentley 飾）求助。托馬斯友善恭敬，熱情施以援手，卻不知其心中藏著怎樣的黑暗念頭。　　寫字樓大門緊鎖，致使準(zhǔn)備乘計程車回家的安吉拉在此返回保安室求助托馬斯。時機業(yè)已成熟，托馬斯露出猙獰面目，他綁架了安吉拉，強迫她參加自己的圣誕晚宴。這個愛慕安吉拉的小男人，給安吉拉帶來一個宛如噩夢般的圣誕節(jié)……

　　病房里的五元硬幣：護士吉川亞由美（武井咲 飾）發(fā)現(xiàn)，每當(dāng)小病人麻友呆呆地指著某個房間某個病床時，該病床的病人就會很快死去。壁櫥好可怕：心懷美容師夢想的青年干也（中島健人 飾）在東京租住了一間廉價公寓，然而房間內(nèi)的壁櫥門總會莫名其妙打開。多出一個人的電梯：四名高中女孩去看望骨折住院的好友上崎亞矢奈因（生駒里奈 飾），當(dāng)她們準(zhǔn)備坐電梯離開時，電梯內(nèi)突然好像又進來一個“人”。詛咒繪馬：小島洋介（バカリズム 飾）意外得到一個會帶來厄運的繪馬，他試圖擺脫卻沒有辦法。夏季通知：不顧父親反對而闖蕩東京的朋子（前田敦子 飾）飽受挫折，偏偏她發(fā)現(xiàn)已經(jīng)去世的父親（鹿賀丈史 飾）時不時出現(xiàn)在他的身邊。引誘池塘：已步入老年的高松（柳葉敏郎 飾）告別子女，打算在度假區(qū)多待一天，夜幕降臨，他似乎看到去世妻子的鬼魂在召喚著他。
