高麗末年，親衛(wèi)軍“健龍衛(wèi)”對高麗王（朱鎮(zhèn)模 飾）忠心耿耿，誓死保衛(wèi)王的安全，其首領(lǐng)洪麟（趙仁成 飾）是王的寵臣，兩個相伴多年，關(guān)系甚為親密。遠嫁而來的蒙古寶麗公主（宋智孝 飾）倍受冷落，多年來無一子嗣。元朝以高麗國后繼無人為由，企圖另立新王，把現(xiàn)在的高麗王趕下王位。無奈之下，王只能讓自己寵愛的臣子和自己名存實亡的王妃行房，期望王妃懷孕生子，以求讓元朝再無易帝的借口。洪麟與王妃初識男歡女愛之歡娛，竟暗生情愫，背著王多次偷偷幽會。王感覺到了洪麟的變化，但還是試圖使兩人的關(guān)系回到過去，可是當(dāng)他親眼目睹了王妃和洪麟的偷情之后，盛怒之下對洪麟施行宮刑，自此，三人關(guān)系陷入了不可挽回的境地。
