阿爾及爾之戰(zhàn)
卜拉欣·哈賈季,讓·馬丹,Yacef Saadi,Samia Kerbash,Ugo Paletti,Fouzia El Kader,Mohamed Ben Kassen一九五四年十月一日，以法屬阿爾及利亞首都阿爾及爾的卡斯巴為中心，爆發(fā)了阿爾及利亞人反抗運動，這是由于阿拉伯人憎恨法國人長期統(tǒng)治而引起的。人們四處搞破壞，法國政府發(fā)覺事態(tài)嚴(yán)重，便于一九五七年十月七日，派馬丘將軍率領(lǐng)四十萬大軍駐于斯拉姆地區(qū)。但是暴亂仍層出不窮，法國人的鎮(zhèn)壓行動開始升級。

All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
