　　美聯(lián)社、《生活》雜志等著名媒體都曾報道過1964年的“月光兇殺案”，當時小鎮(zhèn)墜入一片恐慌，一到黃昏就全鎮(zhèn)戒嚴，全副武裝的警察上街巡邏。直到三個月再無襲擊發(fā)生，警察才逐漸撤出。1976年，曾有一部根據(jù)該案件改編的同名影片上映。兩名幸存者描述兇手有六英尺高，頭戴面具，只露出眼睛和嘴巴。　　2014年版《殺出魔鬼鎮(zhèn)》中，連環(huán)兇殺再度開始，面具殺手時隔六十多年重現(xiàn)特克薩卡納，究竟是有人故意模仿，還是有更恐怖的事情暗中醞釀？一個孤獨的高中女生，似乎知曉解開這一切的秘密。

A brilliant scientist, Dr. Roche, perches high above a stormy sea, inventing a powerful explosive, when he and his assistant are kidnapped by an evil businessman, Artigas. Taken by submarine to Artigas' volcano headquarters, Roche is tricked into developing his experiment for evil intentions. The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. Mixing slapstick comedy, action adventure pacing and Mélies style film magic, this little known Czechoslovakian gem transcends the juvenile literature at its source to create cinematic art of the highest order....

　　故事發(fā)生在某個毗鄰原始森林的小鎮(zhèn)，一家伐木公司正在林中作業(yè)，這時白雪飄然落下，作業(yè)暫時停止，然而隨即便發(fā)生了殘酷血腥的事件。與此同時，警長保羅·希爾德（凱文·杜蘭德 Kevin Durand 飾）和新來的搭檔唐尼剛剛敷衍完幾個報警事件，隨后驅車來到前妻蘇珊（Bianca Kajlich 飾）的家中，接走兒子亞當（Ethan Khusidman 飾）回自家居住。一夜無事，次日一早，保羅在門口發(fā)現(xiàn)碩大的腳印，而且腳印遍布小鎮(zhèn)主干道，一直延伸到森林深處。巨大的腳印在小鎮(zhèn)鬧得人心惶惶，保羅起初絕不相信妖精怪物一類的傳說，但是恐怖血腥的事件接二連三發(fā)生，讓小鎮(zhèn)陷入前所未有的恐慌之中?！　∥C漸次逼近……

　　Anna is stuck: she's approaching 30, living like a hermit in her mum's garden shed and wondering why the suffragettes ever bothered. She spends her days making videos using her thumbs as actors - thumbs that bicker about things like whether Yogi Bear is a moral or existential nihilist. But Anna doesn't show these videos to anyone and no one knows what they are for. A week before her birthday her Mum serves her an ultimatum - she needs to move out of the shed, get a haircut that doesn't put her gender in question and stop dressing like a homeless teenager. Naturally, Anna tells her Mum to "back the f-off". However, when her school friend comes to visit, Anna's self-imposed isolation becomes impossible to maintain. Soon she is entangled with a troubled eight year old boy obsessed with Westerns, and the local estate agent whose awkward interpersonal skills continually undermine his attempts to seduce her.
