　　農(nóng)村姑娘彩鳳（張雨綺 飾）跟同伴來到一家號稱哈佛畢業(yè)生開的診所，希望可以通過整容手術(shù)變漂亮，但是整容醫(yī)生（吳彥祖 飾）的拙劣表現(xiàn)，令她們無功而返。后來，兩人擠上了開往上海的貨車。來到大城市，人生地不熟，彩鳳卻對大屏幕里的街舞情有獨鐘，原來她也曾經(jīng)是鄉(xiāng)舞蹈隊的一員。然而，現(xiàn)實的壓力卻讓她只能把夢想暗藏心底。一次偶然的機會，她進入了朗（立威廉 飾）所開的紅星公司，雖然工作是清潔工，但可以有機會接觸到街舞，讓她非常興奮，時常默默練習。朗是公司老板，富家子弟，每天周旋于紅男綠女之間，希望通過街舞大賽幫公司創(chuàng)品牌。他遇到彩鳳后，被她對街舞的執(zhí)著打動，便提供了一個機會，希望幫她實現(xiàn)夢想。然而，因為一次誤會，令彩鳳傷心地回到了家鄉(xiāng)。她還能有機會站在五光十色的舞臺上實現(xiàn)夢想嗎？

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
