　　未來某城市，藝校姑娘然然（柳田飾）常帶鄰家小孩豆豆（趙夢洋飾）玩耍，不料在一起偶然事件中豆豆丟失，她焦急萬分。此時，城市上空降臨UFO，宇航局安全處派出的特工莫名其妙失去了記憶。局長（王鷹飾）讓偵察員葉云（李藝飾）觀看監(jiān)視錄像，錄像中似有一個類似豆豆的身影出現(xiàn)，但很快便消失了。與此同時，班上來了一個酷似豆豆的學生李大米，他隨身攜帶一個神奇的游戲光盤，如果誰玩光盤大喊“神奇的兔子”，不可思議的事情發(fā)生了，兔子竟然跳到人的身上，兔形浸入人的衣服和皮膚，而人也變的瘋狂暴唳。然然因拒絕玩此游戲，瘋狂的兔子弄壞了她的樂器。原來，西伯爾星球科學家劫持了豆豆并改變了其大腦，改名換姓派回地球作惡......

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
