深的陷阱

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　以乳鴿店立身的安德森（曾志偉 飾）赴上海創(chuàng)業(yè)，卻迷上炒房，將妻子氣死也未思悔改，這天安德森在影院偶然聽到代言新樓盤“碧水云居”的過氣演員潘志強(qiáng)（黃渤 飾）放出的“內(nèi)部消息”，遂再次籌款預(yù)搶購新房。與此同時(shí)，新婚的昔日售樓小姐羅茜（姚晨 飾）為碧水云居付出五萬訂金后，驚系該樓盤周邊林立各污染源。潘志強(qiáng)擔(dān)任樓盤主持嘉賓并為售樓公司鞍前馬后，只希望對方能為自己的新片注資，不料卻被要求退還訂金的羅茜糾纏，潘志強(qiáng)心生一計(jì)，令羅茜將房轉(zhuǎn)賣安德森，事成后自食其言拒退訂金，羅茜無奈只得曝光樓盤內(nèi)幕，結(jié)果引發(fā)連串反應(yīng)，使潘志強(qiáng)與安德森發(fā)現(xiàn)自己陷入了開發(fā)商之局，于是各人苦思脫身之法……
