東京新宿某個破爛的角落，生活著一對姐妹。姐姐福井明美（大山節(jié)子 飾）經(jīng)營著名為;郁金香的小酒吧，兼帶做著皮肉生意，其情夫小澤健次（益富信孝 飾）日常則擔(dān)任酒吧的保鏢。明美的妹妹綽號;金絲雀 智商低下的她是姐姐的員工。每日迎來送往，雖在泥沼之中卻仍保持著單純天真的本性。某天，一名不速之客闖入姐妹倆的生活。剛剛打劫完富豪之家的青年坂口一夫（風(fēng)間杜夫 飾）與明美發(fā)生口角，結(jié)果被小澤暴揍丟到門外。次日清晨，金絲雀看到傷重的坂口，她不顧明美和小澤的阻攔，將其留在身邊。他們共同哼唱的童謠讓彼此找到了認(rèn)同感，一段奇妙的情緣就此展開

　　Sheila Hood is an ex-cop whose marriage is on the rocks. Rather than confronting her husband about an affair, she hides surveillance cameras in her home and watches his transgressions, becoming a voyeur of her own life. Her husband, Tom Kale, is an ornithologist who begins an affair with an ex-girlfriend, Merle James, whose beauty and fragility echoes that of the birds he studies. Ray Starling, the charismatic owner of a boutique hotel, is Merle’s lover, and has dealings with her father, Mr James, a powerful oil baron who operates in the shadows but whose influence touches the whole city.
