拳擊手大卓因意外受傷告別了擂臺，在小區(qū)當了一個保安。在照顧患有癡呆癥父親的過程中，大卓漸漸理解了父親多年來對他的愛，父子間童年時的心結被解開。為彌補父親曾經的遺憾，大卓重拾信心，再一次站到了擂臺之上。

　　A couple on the verge of a nasty divorce attempt to sell their empty love nest and move on with their lives, separately. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
