羅伯特·多納特,瑪?shù)铝铡た?露西·曼海姆,戈弗雷·特爾,佩吉·阿什克羅福特,約翰·勞里,海倫哈耶,懷利·沃森,格斯·麥克諾頓,查爾斯·貝內(nèi)特,馬修·博爾頓,阿爾弗雷德·希區(qū)柯克,邁爾斯·馬勒森,弗雷德里克·派珀,約翰·特恩布爾,Frank Cellier,Jerry Verno,Peggy Simpson,Ivor Barnard,Noel Birkin,Carleton Hobbs,Vida Hope,Elizabeth Inglis,James Knight,Hilda Trevelyan,S.J.音樂(lè)廳中傳來(lái)槍聲,觀眾們一片驚慌。一位外國(guó)女子(露西?曼娜海姆飾)詢(xún)問(wèn)理查德?漢內(nèi)(羅伯特?多納特飾)是否可以在他家中過(guò)夜。次日該女子在被殺之前告訴理查德必須阻止間諜組織“三十九級(jí)臺(tái)階”將國(guó)家機(jī)密偷偷送出英國(guó)。漢內(nèi)為了證明自己并不是殺人兇手無(wú)奈前往蘇格蘭高地尋找線索,在火車(chē)上他尋求一位叫做帕梅拉(瑪?shù)铝?卡羅爾飾)的金發(fā)年輕女子幫助,但她卻馬上向警察告發(fā)了他。他找到了“三十九級(jí)臺(tái)階”的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人喬丹教授,但隨即被陷害入獄。僥幸逃脫后又由于帕梅拉的告發(fā)被兩位偽裝成便衣警察的人帶走,并且他們還把帕梅拉和他銬在了一起。于是兩人攜手逃脫了出來(lái)并取得了互相的信任,然后他們?cè)俅位氐揭魳?lè)廳,漢內(nèi)看到了上次就見(jiàn)過(guò)的表演。他向號(hào)稱(chēng)可以回答任何問(wèn)題的“記憶先生”(懷特?沃森飾)提問(wèn):“什么是三十九級(jí)臺(tái)階“,于是…… 希區(qū)柯克曾說(shuō)“記憶先生“是他最喜歡的角色之一,這個(gè)角色建立在一個(gè)名叫達(dá)塔斯的真人基礎(chǔ)上,他自己小時(shí)候在倫敦看過(guò)他的表演。

鐘熙,侯偉杰,陳彥霓攝影師榮格偶遇前女友洛依,尾隨她回家后便悄然居住在這個(gè)房間里,偷窺著洛依的一舉一動(dòng)。洛依時(shí)常會(huì)帶不同的男人回家,但都被榮格悄無(wú)聲息的黃了。隨著時(shí)間的推移,榮格在房間里的狀態(tài)愈加放松,馬腳也漸漸露的多了,洛依越來(lái)越感覺(jué)到房間里有榮格的存在

謝霆鋒,馮德倫,容祖兒,彭敬慈,鐘兆康,余家豪,吳志雄在一間教學(xué)素質(zhì)低下的學(xué)校里,有一個(gè)不成文的傳統(tǒng):學(xué)生們凡是遇到了爭(zhēng)執(zhí),都不能告訴老師家長(zhǎng),只能自己用拳頭解決。石頭(謝霆鋒 飾)是最能打的一個(gè)同學(xué),一次幫助富家子Edward(馮德倫 飾)解圍,彼此成為朋友,二人也因此得罪了學(xué)校里的好戰(zhàn)分子。阿鳳(容祖兒 飾)一直暗戀既帥氣學(xué)習(xí)有出色的Edward,而Edward認(rèn)為學(xué)生最緊要是學(xué)習(xí),會(huì)考時(shí)間逼近,Edward便義務(wù)幫助石頭與阿鳳補(bǔ)習(xí)。由于家境富有,Edward竟然在考試當(dāng)天被綁架了,石頭決心把他救回……

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
