假如比爾街可以作證

 《月光男孩》導演巴里·杰金斯日前敲定新片，他將把知名作家詹姆斯·鮑德溫的小說《假若比爾街能夠講話》(If Beale Street Could Talk)搬上大銀幕，故事設定于上世紀70年代的紐約哈林區(qū)，主角是一對剛訂婚的年輕情侶芬尼(Fonny)和蒂什(Tish)。芬尼被誣告強奸，而身懷六甲的蒂什將四處奔走尋找證據證明丈夫的清白。梅根·埃里森創(chuàng)立的安納普爾納將投資本片，也將和《月光男孩》制片公司Plan B、杰金斯本人的Pastel工作室一同制作本片，10月開拍。

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 瀟灑先生

　　瀟灑是一個船員，整天在海上漂泊，一去就是幾個月，他的媽媽和小妹阿珍都很擔心他。一天，瀟灑回到家，妹妹非常驚喜，可是他的媽媽并不開心，覺得他沒有出息。瀟灑很是委屈，于是借酒消愁。阿珍和她的媽媽靠開小店為生，每天，早晨都有很多出租司機來照顧她們的生意，其中有一位司機阿光對阿珍有意思，經常來幫助她們。一天，政府通知他們，房子半年后要撤，但是他們一時又拿不出錢去買新的房子，為了籌錢，于是一家人在阿光的幫助……
