  美發(fā)師紀(jì)阿開(張學(xué)友)、服裝設(shè)計師大眼龍(莫少聰)和風(fēng)水師賴布丁(周星馳)三個死黨合伙開了一家新潮美發(fā)店,不料開業(yè)當(dāng)天就與隔壁理發(fā)店老板發(fā)生爭執(zhí),幸得店老板女兒亞英(張敏)及時出手風(fēng)波平息,過程中,三人皆被亞英魅力吸引,為贏其芳心,開始頻頻登其家門獻(xiàn)殷勤?! ∧炒瓮聿途蹠螅藸€醉與亞英誤睡一室,導(dǎo)致亞英懷孕,為與亞英一起生活,三人爭先恐后將準(zhǔn)父親一職往自己身上攬,又因三人血型相同,醫(yī)院也無法驗(yàn)出誰在冒名,亞英父母決定先考察三人表現(xiàn),為爭當(dāng)最佳女婿,三人使盡渾身解數(shù)展開激烈角逐。

  Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.  Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
