Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 時(shí)空悍將

　　故事發(fā)生在一個(gè)電腦科技極為發(fā)達(dá)的年代，一名科學(xué)家發(fā)明了一個(gè)殺人程序協(xié)助警方辦案，其中集結(jié)了數(shù)百名連環(huán)殺手的資料和他們的作案手法。這個(gè)程序是如此的邪惡，最后不僅生成了個(gè)人意志，更擁有了人類(lèi)的外表和可以隨時(shí)修復(fù)任意損傷的特殊能力，它從禁錮中逃脫了出來(lái)，在世間作惡。　　為了捕捉這位邪惡的“兇手”，警方設(shè)計(jì)了一個(gè)追蹤儀器，罪犯帕克（丹澤爾·華盛頓 Denzel Washington 飾）被選中成為了儀器的試驗(yàn)品。帕克曾經(jīng)亦是一名警察，卻因?yàn)閯?dòng)用私刑殺死了讓他家破人亡的殺手而被免除了職務(wù)打入大牢。而讓帕克感到在意的是，在殺人程序中，亦有當(dāng)年殺害他家人的那名殺手的存在。
