本作品描繪了人類的性交往，描繪了江戶時代迎來全盛期的春畫研究家芳賀一郎和他的弟子春野弓子的交流。有一天，在咖啡店工作的弓子遇到了不怕別人看到的凝視春畫的“春畫老師”芳賀。弓子對突然說出春畫是什么的芳賀一見鐘情，決定在他的家里開始接受春畫講座。劇中以師徒組合“春畫愛”為軸心，芳賀執(zhí)筆的春畫大全的擔(dān)當(dāng)編輯和芳賀亡妻的姐姐也被卷入其中，故事由此展開。
