 25年前，高中生任娜美（沈恩京 飾）一家從全羅道搬到漢城，娜美入讀真德女子高中，因方言濃重怯于開口的娜美幸運的得到了同班大姐頭夏春花（姜索拉 飾）的維護，并與圍繞在夏春花周圍的執(zhí)著于雙眼皮的金玫瑰、滿嘴臟話的黃珍熙、夢想成為作家的徐金玉、要成為韓國小姐的俞福姬以及沉默傲慢的美人鄭秀智等五人結(jié)識。在一次和不良少女團對決之后，春花和娜美等七人組成了“Sunny”團體……多年以后，家庭主婦娜美在去醫(yī)院探望母親時偶然重逢了身患絕癥住院的春花，后者希望在生命的最后兩個月內(nèi)，能夠再見當(dāng)年的Sunny成員。娜美找到金玫瑰，兩人委托私家偵探尋找當(dāng)年的同伴，而那些關(guān)于青春的回憶，也在一個個熟悉的名姓后面再次被喚醒。

　　此片是盧貝松再影壇還沒沒無聞時，憑著一腔熱血，旺盛活力與爆發(fā)力， 突破一切傳統(tǒng)，掙脫一切商業(yè)機制下的樊籠，冒著無色彩，無對話，無明星等大諱所完成的電影。當(dāng)影片完成時，因宣傳無門，于是盧貝松帶著這部影片參加瑞士阿沃基影展，一舉拿下評審特別大獎及影評人獎，因而打開他的國際知名度。解剖核子戰(zhàn)后的文明廢墟，因為無色彩，所以這是一部黑白色調(diào)的電影。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
