Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 該取材于武穴市4000多名黨員下社區(qū)、進(jìn)小區(qū)，通過(guò)黨建引領(lǐng)老舊小區(qū)改造的故事：建于上世紀(jì)七、八十年代的老油廠(chǎng)小區(qū)，有9棟樓160多戶(hù)居民，是一個(gè)典型的無(wú)物管、無(wú)主管部門(mén)、無(wú)人防物防的“三無(wú)”小區(qū)。這里許多居民亂搭亂建雜物間、小車(chē)棚，下水道破損無(wú)人維修，生活污水橫流，居住環(huán)境十分惡劣。有條件的住戶(hù)外出購(gòu)房搬離后，又將這里的房子出租出去，導(dǎo)致這兒的居住環(huán)境更加復(fù)雜。龍?zhí)渡鐓^(qū)主任張昊陽(yáng)借老舊小區(qū)改造之際，做活黨建+的文章，派出社區(qū)片警樊玉鋒任第一支部書(shū)記，引導(dǎo)居民開(kāi)展“法治、德治、自治”。在社區(qū)工作者和小區(qū)黨支部+業(yè)主委員會(huì)的共同努力下，解決了一批居民急難愁盼的事，終于讓居住在這里的近千名群眾生活出現(xiàn)了新業(yè)態(tài)。
