對美食有著獨(dú)特見解的“碼農(nóng)”陸拾谷（王傳君 飾），與經(jīng)常用美食治愈生活的圖書編輯張嘉怡（江疏影 飾），因午飯時的拼桌意外結(jié)識，在一起尋找更多美味的經(jīng)歷下，兩人逐漸成為彼此味覺和心意相投的“飯搭子”。陸拾谷默默按照母親的心意生活、工作，可心中卻翻涌著無限波濤，張嘉怡的圖書編輯工作、感情生活紛紛遇到瓶頸，在都市的煙火氣，牛馬打工人的迷茫中，拾谷與嘉怡最終會在味蕾與真心的指引下如何完成自我的成長？二人間又會產(chǎn)生怎樣宿命般的羈絆？一道色香味俱全的真香菜肴只待觀眾“嘗鮮”！

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  故事開始于十六世紀(jì)初，因為皇后凱瑟琳（賓妮·巴尼斯 Binnie Barnes 飾）無法生育，英國國王亨利八世（查爾斯·勞頓 Charles Laughton 飾）同她離婚，另娶了名為恩尼（梅爾·奧勃朗 Merle Oberon 飾）的女子為皇后，哪知道野心勃勃的恩尼整天盤算著推翻丈夫的統(tǒng)治自立為王，當(dāng)她的陰謀敗露之后，亨利八世親手將她送上了斷頭臺。恩尼死后，亨利八世娶了奇恩（溫迪·巴里 Wendy Barrie 飾）為妻，哪知道在生產(chǎn)時，奇恩因為難產(chǎn)而死，只留下了一個可憐的嬰兒威爾斯（邁爾斯·曼德 Miles Mander 飾）。之后，大臣們想要國王迎娶德國公主，可這一次，國王駁回了大臣們的請求。
