 《月光男孩》導(dǎo)演巴里·杰金斯日前敲定新片，他將把知名作家詹姆斯·鮑德溫的小說(shuō)《假若比爾街能夠講話(huà)》(If Beale Street Could Talk)搬上大銀幕，故事設(shè)定于上世紀(jì)70年代的紐約哈林區(qū)，主角是一對(duì)剛訂婚的年輕情侶芬尼(Fonny)和蒂什(Tish)。芬尼被誣告強(qiáng)奸，而身懷六甲的蒂什將四處奔走尋找證據(jù)證明丈夫的清白。梅根·埃里森創(chuàng)立的安納普爾納將投資本片，也將和《月光男孩》制片公司Plan B、杰金斯本人的Pastel工作室一同制作本片，10月開(kāi)拍。

　　In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems.
