The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
紐倫堡的審判
斯賓塞·屈塞,伯特·蘭卡斯特,理查德·威德馬克,瑪琳·黛德麗,馬克西米連·謝爾,朱迪·加蘭,蒙哥馬利·克利夫特,維爾納·克倫佩雷爾講述二戰(zhàn)后在紐倫堡提審德國(guó)納粹計(jì)劃的法律關(guān)系者，三個(gè)被告提審的原因是給猶太人施行斷種手術(shù)。擔(dān)任主審判長(zhǎng)的是美國(guó)人赫魯特，他主張其中兩個(gè)被告無罪；而德國(guó)司法部長(zhǎng)亞林克竟對(duì)此事保持沉默，但檢查官羅森上校卻激烈的指責(zé)被告，因此三個(gè)人展開激烈的辯論。審訊繼續(xù)進(jìn)行下去。而美國(guó)的高級(jí)官員們希望能在審判中獲提德國(guó)所犯罪行的良好證明，因此對(duì)審判施以極大的壓力，但赫魯特堅(jiān)守法律的正義立場(chǎng)，給予了最公正的判決。在宣布判決結(jié)果時(shí)，只有亞林對(duì)赫魯特審判長(zhǎng)的態(tài)度表示贊賞。
重返侏羅紀(jì)
古銘瀚,楊雪,毛凡,張永華,馬群雄為了研究抗癌特效藥，探險(xiǎn)團(tuán)隊(duì)前往失落的孤島尋找一種遠(yuǎn)古植物-火獄蔓蓮，卻在島上遭遇了遠(yuǎn)古生物的襲擊并發(fā)現(xiàn)了侏羅紀(jì)遺址，在經(jīng)歷萬難，獲得花蕊之后，眾人再次遭到了迅猛龍追擊，最終團(tuán)隊(duì)四散，只有三人在危機(jī)之中逃了出來，乘船離開了孤島。
二狗返鄉(xiāng)記
馬燦燦,李棟,胡雙全,柳秉鈺,梁棟,陶源品性憨直，風(fēng)趣幽默，農(nóng)村吃百家飯長(zhǎng)大的孤兒石二狗，在城市打工意外獲得彩票大獎(jiǎng)五百萬，之后，他風(fēng)風(fēng)火火的回到老家，借著酒勁給鄉(xiāng)親們發(fā)錢，并且還想憑這五百萬娶村長(zhǎng)的女兒石金鳳，但是卻遭到石金鳳的嘲笑，于是他發(fā)奮要為老家人民做點(diǎn)大事——修路，將修路的工程包給了金鳳城里的男朋友胡大光，以這樣顯示他的大度并期望博得金鳳的歡喜，可是卻由于經(jīng)驗(yàn)的缺失和文化知識(shí)的不足，被胡大光給蒙混了，手上的錢都讓胡大光騙走了，連答應(yīng)給村里修小學(xué)的錢也被騙的一光二凈，二狗又成了一個(gè)身無分文的窮光蛋。 二狗有錢的時(shí)候，在眾多人中招聘了韓美華作為村里學(xué)校的老師，現(xiàn)在二狗沒錢了，本以為韓美華會(huì)離開石頭村，但是由于二狗的善良和執(zhí)著，早已深深的打動(dòng)了美麗聰明的城里女孩韓美華。韓美華利用自己的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和智慧聯(lián)手以前一直瞧不起二狗的村民們，為二狗打贏了官司。最后在韓美華的指引和村民們的幫助下，石二狗憑借自己堅(jiān)韌的毅力，白手起家，帶領(lǐng)百姓發(fā)家致富開創(chuàng)了嶄新的事業(yè)。
